• Maximum Abrasive Performance with Maximum Gloss: Its high 5 rating for cut and 5 for finish is unique in the SONAX PROFILINE range. This means that workshops and detailers can easily start with a high aggressiveness to remove sanding marks and end with a fine distribution that creates high gloss. This behavior explains why a single pass is sufficient where other products require two separate steps.
• Silicone Free and Workshop Friendly: Silicone-containing polishes can cause craters and wetting defects during repainting. In fact, the problem only becomes visible after the paint application, thus rendering the entire work step useless. But the SONAX Profiline Polish Cut & Finish 5:5 (1L) changes this dynamic since it is deliberately formulated to be silicone-free and can be used directly next to the spray booth without contamination risk.
• Low-Dust Processing with Long Open Time: The polish remains moist and pliable throughout the polishing process, without dusting or drying out. This long open time gives you the freedom to extend the polishing pass if the paint requires it without the fear of polishing dust settling in crevices and joints. Subsequent wiping is achieved in one go, without the need for re-cleaning.

Technical Features 

• Chemical Features: We designed this product as a water-based solution that is free of silicones, even as it minimizes product breakdown residue to ensure a clean workspace, while saving cleanup time. 
• Machine Compatibility and Pad Dynamics:  The product is optimized mainly for rotary polishers and works best by managing speed and pressure. However, it can also be paired with orbital/DA polishers when handling minor refinement. Since it has a high rating in cut and finish, the final result depends on the selection of pad, be it a hard foam pad for aggressive cutting or a medium foam pad for one-step refinement. 
• Defect Removal Capacity and Yield: This polish is designed to remove scratches up to P1500 grit; a task usually assigned to abrasive compounds. On the efficiency side, it is available in the 1L bottle, which means it can be used to cure more than 30 cars, of course depending on the severity of the scratches and defects.

How to Use 

1. Prepare the Surface: Wash the surface thoroughly to remove any dirt and decontaminate using a clay bar. Leave it to dry for at least 60 minutes before applying the polish. 
2. Fix the Rotary Polisher and Pad: Ready the polisher and choose the type of pad you want to use. If you want to use one pad the trick is to start at a low speed of 800 RPM before increasing to 1200–1500 RPM and finishing around the weight of the machine to achieve that perfect gloss. 
3. Apply the Product: Apply three to four pea-sized dots of polish to the pad, spread it on the component at low speed, then increase to working speed. Work in passes with about fifty percent overlap across the entire section until the polish becomes clear. 
4. Wipe Off the Excess: Buff off the polish residue with a clean microfiber cloth and check the result under an LED lamp: If sanding marks are still visible, repeat the pass with a little more pressure or higher speed.
