• Open-Cell Sponge Technology: Its open-cell feature ensures air flow through the sponge structure during polishing, reducing excessive heat accumulation. Also, it assists in distributing polishing compounds more evenly across the working surface.
• Hook-and-Loop Fastening System: It consists of a durable hook-and-loop backing system that facilitates rapid attachment and removal. The fastening system ensures the pad is secured safely in position during operation, reducing the risk of rapid uncontrolled movements while polishing.

How to Use

• Preparation: Ensure the surface of the vehicle is free from any form of contaminants that may interfere with polishing performance. Secure the SONAX Rotary Polishing Pad Red – Hard 165 mm to the backing plate. Ensure it is centered correctly. 
• Compound Application: Apply an appropriate cutting compound like the SONAX PROFILINE CutMax or SONAX Ultimate Cut directly onto the pad. Apply a few drops in various sections in a circular manner around the pad. 
• Initial Correction Passes: Using controlled movements and overlapping passes at a low machine speed spread the product evenly. Increase speed and maintain moderate pressure once the correction process begins.
• Monitor Surface Temperature: While polishing, periodically check panel temperature to avoid excessive heat buildup. Do not allow the paint surface to overheat at all costs as it may damage the paintwork.
• Inspect Results: After polishing, wipe all residue polish with a clean microfibre cloth and inspect the paint surface under proper lighting conditions.
